First let's try this. Make any links in those embeds https instead of http. Facebook requires all links in apps to be secure links. After you've done that let me know what's still not displaying, thanks Stan.

Here is status so far. I have spent a couple of hours tracing these back and forth on IExplorer and Google and I THINK it is all on the site. It seems that most work on IE so the below is the status on Chrome.

In a nutshell, Google Doc's and CC created anchors in Chrome are the only thing not resolved so far.

Google doc’s - was already https - they DON’T display when changed to https (works on IE)

Issuu.com - was http -it displays when changed to https

Paypal - was already https it displays okay as is

Youtube embeds - was http (two shown) - it displays when BOTH are changed to https

Youtube links - protocol = http - it displays okay as is

Links to anchors (in CC) - shows as https - links to anchors do not work (works on IE)

Slideshare - was http - displays when changed to https

Vimeo - was http - displays when changed to https

I have 50-75 pages and hundreds of doc’s/videos/etc to check and change. Is it likely that anything you will do will mean I don’t need to change them to https or should I just go ahead and get started?

BTW – do you have any idea when the “fix” on being able to join an alumni site AND a multi-year site will be in place. Not looking for a firm date, but wondering if it is days, weeks or months?

Thanks for all the hard work! I really think this “entrance from a new street” is going to be great for CC users

Like the references to anchors, putting in links to email addresses does not work in Chrome but does in IE

Turned this over to Programming. In upcoming work queue. Not sure about the global fix yet but will find out. Thanks Stan.

More info on issues with Chrome and Firefox.....
Google doc's inserted in a page now sometimes show the attached message in Firefox (where they worked before). Sometimes if you refresh, it works, sometimes not.

In all three browsers, the doc's show up left justified regardless of the coding.

I am not sure what you mean by "global fix".

Just curious - is this an issue for me or for everyone who uses Google doc's. It seems surprising that i have not seen the issue show up on forums.

Not sure yet. It's in the Programing queue though marked medium priority. With the recent launch there's a very large queue right now but we'll get there. Will have answer here as soon as available.
