There's actually 3 Max Higgs admins there now. Please don't touch a thing and leave it just like this for a sec. I'll have a programmer correct, but more importantly, determined how that hapened. Thanks Max.

Response from Programmer:

"There are 2 Max Higgs, but they're in different classes and both added before Class Connection app era. See screen: http://screencast.com/t/OpDfMJUlUuk8"

i.e. neither Profile was created via the app. Only the second one is linked to your Facebook profile. Since the second is the admin, thin it's safe to delete the first one.

Thanks Brad. This explains why I have been getting messages twice. My problem is that I can not access the second one (member id 5438987)which was created in 2012. Does not appear in 1968 class profile list or when I manage classmates. I don't have any idea where it came from. Any idea how I can delete it?

I will ask a programmer to zap the duplicate.

Thank you Brad.

I see from a message this morning that CC is going live next Monday. I am going to wait to announce it for a little while to make sure I don't get more inquiries than I can handle. You have done a great job with this interface Brad.

I have corrected most of our pages for the problems with secure site requirements for videos. Here are a few things that remain :

Messages: When classmates send messages to one another I get a message that a classmate has sent one. When I click on it, it does not show the message. I don't know who the message was sent to, so I don't know whose profile to look at for the message. Therefore, why tell me they sent a message? I also wonder if I should be notified if the message was not sent to me.

Photo Gallery: We use the photo gallery a lot to share reunions and special events and initiatives. It is really not usable now due to the viewing problem that currently exists in Class Connection. I saw this was a low priority in the programming list and would like to see it moved up.

Logins: I think it is really important at CC launch that there be a video for users that illustrates how to login to Class Connection from either Class Creator or Facebook. I think there is one now for a single approach but I don't think it includes both methods. Our FB users login daily to FB but not necessarily our website. So many would come into Class Connection from FB.

Thanks again Brad,
Max

Hey Brad,
I am getting my email blasts twice again. Could you check and see if there is another duplicate of my profile. If you don't find any duplicate, what would you recommend?
Thanks,
Max

Hey Brad,
I did not get the test email you sent from our site twice.

Hmmmm. I almost wish you did. Can you let me know if this happens again?

Brad, I do have both copies of an email which I received twice but I don't know how to send them to you with envelope information. Any ideas?

What I need to know now is if this happens again from here. My best guess is this may pertain to a mail server issue and reboot that was done the other day, somehow resulting in redundant emails being sent. If it's no longer happening I don't believe there is anything to resolve.

K. Kirk has entered your personal email address in her ALT email address field. This is why you're getting dups. I have no idea why she did that but I suggest you remove it.

Hey Brad,
I got a member (John Dowd) in the class of 64 that has 2 profiles. One has the Class Creator logo and the other has the Class Connection logo. See attached screenshot.
I don't know how John got it there or how to fix it. The Class Connection profile only has a different picture in it and nothing else.
Thank you,
Max

Please ask John to do exactly this:

1) Log into Facebook, click Settings, Apps, and delete Class Connection.
2) Log into your class web site and click the "Class Connection" link under Member Functions.
3) Click the blue Join Class button, and accept the app permissions.

John is now in the app merged with his proper Profile.

Will do Brad.
Is this something that others will do trying to interface with Class Connection?
Thank you,
Max

Unlikely. For some reason John never completed the merge (clicking his name on your class list and either entering his password).
