We had an issue this morning where someone uploaded a pornographic picture up on a classmate profile. I have the e-mail of the person who was "added" to the class site. Is there anyway we can secure the site so this won't happen?

If an actual Classmate adds something like this, it would be up to you as the Administrator to police it. If a non used name was hijacked to gain entry into the site, this is called hijacking and we'll have a hijacking "fix" out shortly as part of our new Preferences area. See this thread for more.
