Thanks for your reply. I addressed it via my CC as I never saw your reply which is odd because I had "send me an email" if someone comments on this turned on.

Hi Mark, I cleared the bounce which may have been a temporary issue and sent a new password reset link to see if tha comes through. You don't have to reset it is just a test email. Jessica Class Creator Support

several weeks ago I received a msg on home page on logging in that "Your email has bounced. Action required." "Action" is to verify/update my email (done several times) then "Send a verification email to ... me" (done several times). However, I have yet to receive a verification email. it's a hotmail.com email address if that matters. I'm the admin for our site and have two alternate emails so I'm not missing site activity but I can't figure out why the "Send verification email" is not working. Even after deleting my email from the bounced email list, re-entering my email in my profile, saving it, resending the verification email. Still no email verification showing up in my inbox/junk/spam folders from CC to my hotmail email address. Thoughts? Thanks.

Slideshow images (gallery) do not show in the file vault. All long time ago they did show up. I imagine people were deleting images not realizing they were in a slide/gallery show. You can see the images in galleries by clicking the [b]image[/b] icon in the CC editor - top left. Pick Gallery Photos. I think you have to delete the photos from the gallery to free up the space. This [b]file vault[/b] is not the complete file vault. Those comprise only the images you uploaded as an "image". You can also see those in the "chain link".

On any page go to the editor and click on the closed chain link icon second row right. Then click on file vault. View the contents of the files and images folders. Delete individual items by right clicking on them.

Remove/delete a YouTube video

Someone posted 2 videos into a photo gallery that link to YouTube, however, the YouTube videos apparently no longer exist. How do I delete the videos?

Vault questions

I saw that I was about maxed out on Vault storage. I deleted all my Announcement section, and it didn't cause a change in my vault capacity. I really don't know what things constitute usage. I had even deleted some clip art and it didn't make a difference. I need a lesson in Vault storage 101............Thanks

Hi John, If someone is added to In Memory the emails don't go out anymore unless that same email address is assigned to another classmate such as a spouse or unless that individual had more than one profile. Sometimes an admin will have two profiles by choice - they keep one as admin and one they can see the way a classmate sees things. If you ever see an email bounce that you believe is only under In Memory the best way to double check that it is not assigned elsewhere is to go to Admin Functions > Manage Classmates > Enter/edit Classmates and put that email address into the search at the top of the list. The search will show results of any name that has that email address as primary or alternate email. Occasionally admins have not entered the individual into In Memory yet so it's always good to check to make sure they have been added to In Memory. Jessica Class Creator Support

With the introduction of a new mail server a while back, some of the old problems with various email handlers appear to have been resolved. But as you can see in some forum reports, that new server is still being "fine tuned". And my Notify read percentages which used to show 100% more often than not are still running from 70s to 90s more often. Of course, some of my classmates may not be checking their email as often, and the problem with the new mail server sending notify emails to classmates who are on the In Memory page certainly warps the Sent and Read stats.

Some of my classmates have been telling me recently of not being notified of any new posts in a long time, when they had been receiving notifications fine for years. When they go to the "NOTIFY ME" link in the left margin, it still indicates "Immediately" or "Daily". (It's almost as if the "Never" option has been suddenly selected, but it has not.) Has anyone else experienced this and somehow resolved? We have an active class website participation rate of at least a new posting every several days. We recognize birthdays and special events etc in classmate's lives to name two things posted for our large class. We use the "What's New" heading. I would like to keep it very active, that way through notifications to all registered classmates. Some have stated they have been missing out on our "group chat" recently.

Agree, it's sometimes difficult to get anyone to respond here. Maybe post it again in [b]BUGS[/b] asking if the address posted here is current or if it has been changed. Use the other two addresses to clarify why you are asking. Did you try to call that phone number? I just got a recording.
