I have this website I would like to add to my homepage, http://www.iowacountyhistoricalsociety.org/?page_id=410
I copy and paste but it doesn't open.
Any suggestions?

Did you want to literally copy the page (source) or have the page show or just link to it?

Add the link and they can click on it and open it. I have copied and pasted the entire link, but it won't open.

I see you have a bunch of links on your home page. So I'm assuming you added those and know how to do that.

That address you gave works for me. So I suspect there was just a transient internet problem that prevented the page from loading.

If you add it to your home page I can verify it for you if it still doesn't work.

To add a link that will open up in a new page, do the following:

Edit Home Page Content (Edit Site Pages, EDIT PAGE for Home Page, Scroll down to the content editor)
place the cursor where you want the link to be
type "Click Here for website" or any other text you want to display
Select the "Click Here..." text
Click the LINK button (3rd from right on 2nd row of buttons)
Paste your URL, in this case http://www.iowacountyhistoricalsociety.org/?page_id=410
To make the link open in a new page, click the TARGET tab, then choose the "New Window" option
SAVE the link
SAVE CHANGES for the home page content

Iowa County? I'm checking it out, Gary. My parents were from Iowa. Smile

Ahhhh, there is an Iowa County in WI. I didn't know that. This Illinois girl went to college too far south in Milton, I guess!

I was wondering if that wasn't the case. A lot of folks think Iowa County is in the State of Iowa. Iowa County is about 60 miles from the Iowa state line.
