I've been online when several other classmates were also logged in (we have "Who's Online Now" enabled). Each time I go to the "Live Chat" page, only my name shows up. Why don't the other classmates that are logged in show up? To do a live chat I should just be able to click on their name and then "chat".

The feature you want is called Instant Messaging. It will be coming after the release of Photo Galleries, which will be available before the end of this month. Now, in order to have a chat, the classmates need to meet in the chat room.

Some classes have sent out e-mails saying when there would be a chat and then anyone interested could join the chat room.
