I adminsiter two sites for my classes. Now, I want to establish a new site for my family. The only members will be my family and I want visitores to be able to click on our names for information. I read that if I do not use the login box, I will get a "special" code to use to administer the site. Is this assigned automatically or do I have to do something to get it. I plan to register a domain name for this site. Does anyone have a personal site I can see for inspiration sake. Thanks in advance.

Yes you can disable the login box, and immediately upon doing that you'll be shown a special login. But if you want your family to register on the site and have their names under your Family Profiles (or whatever you name it) link, then you'll want to leave that login box in place. If you turn that off, no family members will be able to join your site. It would just be a free form content site 100% controlled by you if you turn off member abilities.
