I have a multitude of problems with the site, but this is the most pressing one. I seemed to have "lost" all the content on the home page. I was attempting to try and add a slideshow and just realized all the photos originally on the page (not the slideshow) were missing. I had deleted content that was for our reunion which has passed so that was ok. Isn't there a backup? I see the number of backups but when I select the number it just asks me a question and never lets me continue. I'm afraid that between me and my daughter attempting so many times that its gone. Thats not a tragedy as it needed some updating. Just asking.

When I click on View Backups or on the number of backups, I get a dialog box (see attachment). At first, when I clicked on OK, it just gave me the dialog box again. After clicking OK a couple of more times, it displayed the backups. I think this might have been a temporary glitch we both were experiencing. Try clicking on OK again and see if it displays the backups.

The home page consists of Home Page Content and/or Announcements.

You also had an announcement under Member Functions > Post an Announcement that expired recently. You had it set to expired on September 28, 2024. If that is what you are looking for you can go to Announcements and change the end date to a later date or remove both the start and end date and just turn it off manually in the future.

Thanks for the reply Jessica but that's not the problem. I was trying to embed a YouTube video and managed to delete everything off of the Home page. I had deleted a little blurb about baby boomers and was trying to put a slide show on. Managed to lose everything. I was just, today, able to put the slideshow/video on, I'm not upset about losing the rest but was curious about back-ups. Also our messaging system seems to be totally broken along with bouncebacks! We can't communicate using the messaging icon or going to the classmates profile and sending from there?

Thank you so much. That was exactly what was happening. It continually asked the same question but today I was able to fix it and add my slideshow! Whew. There are still many problems that I haven't the energy to tackle. Thanks again.
