How can I set a password for a classmate that has not yet "joined" the site? She got into the site via the "System Password" but did not complete setting up her profile. Now she says that she cannot sign back in using the "system password".

She needs to make sure she is entering the system password only in the entry box that says system password. If she enters her email and the system password in the login box that will not work.

Once she is past the system password login she will need to go to her name under Classmate Profiles and join the site. After she joins she can use her email address and her own assigned password from that point forward.

How do you send an email to a classmate how she can login when password is forgotten.

Assuming you know the classmate's email, send the classmate an email by clicking on the classmate's profile and then clicking on "Send (classmate's name) a private message."

In your message, ask them to attempt to log in. Under Password, have them click on "Forgot Password" and they will be able to reset their password.

Of course, if you are in contact with the classmate, you can also reset their password through Admin Functions > Manage Classmates > Enter/Edit Classmates > Click on Details for classmate's name > change the password to whatever the classmate gives you > click SAVE CHANGES.

Or... Use Manage Classmates to go to their Details page, and click on "Reset Password" to tell the system to send an email to their email address with instruction on how to reset their password.
