I have deactivated the Message Forum feature on our class website and was wondering if there is any way to archive the messages posted in the Message Forum. I want to move to the User Forum and rather than transferring many of the posts from the message to user forum was wondering if I could somehow link to the old Message Forum through the User Forum. I do not want people to be able to post on the Message Forum, only to see the old messages.

Nope, I'm sorry there is not. They are two totally different animals and are in two completely different structures. If you want to disable the old Message Forums like you have, the only real options you have would be to copy the content to your new User Forums, or copy the content to one of your Customizable Links pages where people could continue to read it. Doing so would probably be quite a bit of work... Sorry there is not a better solution for this, but copy and paste is about the only possibly here.

Thought that might be the case. Thanks much.
