Can I delete a user from the user forums list of users?

Do you want someobody to be a member of your site but not a member of the forums? Or have you removed a member from your site but that member is still showing up on the forum user's list?

This is to help with the different names situation. Until you can make changes to pick up either the current profile name or the name from the user forum setup, I want to delete my original name in the forums. Obviously, I definitely do not want to delete my site profile. I know we talked about not being able to edit the name in forums.

Going forward, I suppose there could also be a situation where you want to let someeone still be active and view everything on the site but, for one reason or another, you don't want them to have a user forum profile.

Ok. We're about to do a few more threaded forum tasks including the name pulling from the Class List.

Will it be retroactive? IE, will it change the user name on posts already made?

Yes, whatever the name is on the Contact Details page will be the forum name.
