Is it OK to have 2 people listed with the same name in profiles as long as they both have different e-mail addresses?

If so, you could include their middle initial with their first name so that you technically don't have two names that are the same...

It's ok, yes. Every member has a different Member ID #. The only area you'd run into problems with this is batch importing. The import would take the first name and then ignore the second. Thus you'd have to manually enter one of those two.
