A cool email enhancement would be a feature that allowed us to time release of e-mail somewhat like outlook does.

After a year with Class Creator, we have 45% of our class signed up. I'm disappointed in that. However, our attendance at our reunion this week has more than doubled the last reunion. That's awesome Effective e-mail usage has been the key. I tried to send something every day or so. Never go more than two without an email. I ran a poll yesterday to see if people thought they were getting too much e-mail. Only 1 person out of 20 respondents said they were getting too much e-mail from the site so I think we're on the right direction.

I would like to be able to set up several e-mails at a time and then control their release over 2 or 3 days.

Right now, it's either feast or famine when I have time.

Just thinking out lout. Maybe the system can do that already and I've just missed it. If that's the case, can someone point me in the right direction.

ClassCreator has been an awesome tool. Thanks. You guys are amazing....

That is an awfully interesting idea. My reunion is over a year away. We have 32% of the alumni from 1963 signed up. And I do feel as though it's becoming more tedious than what I anticipated. Time released e-mails would help...help quite a bit. I am a novice to the internet and Class Creator has helped immeasurably.
If anyone out there has an idea of how to solve the above predicament without having to be a computer whiz, I'd love to hear it.
...Just a thought...could one accomplish this with a beginning date for delivery inserted...just as an ending date is inserted in announcements? Idea

I added it to the EMAIL THE CLASS wishlist, so it will be considered when that feature is looked at for enhancements.

Thank you. The more I think about it, the better I like the idea. BUT, one has to careful not to become too complacent should we achieve this new feature.

A different topic..
I checked out your website..and I luv your How to use your Website.CoolCoolCool I copy and pasted it to my How to use your Website page. But I am having trouble embedding the links so it will link to my site. I have tried in vain.Rolling EyesRolling Eyes
I wonder if you know how I can fix it.
Here's my problem.
When I delete the link and then replace it with mine..it still goes to your site. It must have something to do the way you have your link embedded.
Maybe I need a CC Techie to figure it out.
I hope you don't mind that I copied your instructions.
You have a fantastic...slick site.
Thanx so much in advance for your help!
BTW..glad your reunion was a success.
About too much email..my classmates would go crazy if I emailed them every 2 days. But if you polled your alumni..and they like go ahead.Wink

I think that is a terrific idea. One of the things I've noticed is that folks want to see and know the site is fresh and updated on a regular basis. This would be a good way to do that. Excellant idea Richard.

I stole it from someone else so you are certainly welcome. That's what I love about ClassCreator and these forums.

I'll take a look when I get home this evening to see if I can offer a suggestion how to fix it. Seems like I had that problem once before but I don't remember what caused it and how I fixed it without looking.

Hi, I wasn't sure to whom you you were addressing your comments either. To the person who was asking about embedding a video, I did it this way: I went to the page on which I wanted to imbed. I pressed imbed or share. Then I highlighted The link, clicked on copy. Then, at the school site I brought up the page on which I wanted to imbed. Here's the key:In the top where you change fonts and colors, etc. click on SOURCE. Then after that click on paste. Works every time. Hope this helps.
