I did not see a place for cell phone numbers on the csv file that was provided to use for uploading classmate info, although there is a place for cell phone number on the profile. Can we add a column for cell phone number on the .csv spreadsheet we use to upload info? Thanks.

NO!! you cannot add any columns or rearrange the columns. The column headings of the Download Template need to remain in the file and in the same order.

The Cellphone numbers will need to be typed in manually after the upload is done.

Some of my classmates are wondering why email addresses and phone numbers don't appear on classmates profiles. Is there a reason and is it possible to do so?

On the EDIT PROFILE page, at the bottom, there is this checkbox....

   Allow logged-in Classmates to see my address and phone number (this information is hidden from your Classmates unless you check this box). This information is never available to the general public or search engines even if this box is checked.

If they check that checkbox, address & phone numbers will show up.

E-mail addresses don't show up at all in the profile page. This is by design because it is considered private.

You COULD add an additional question on the PROFILE GENERATOR that says "If you want to be contacted by other classmates by EMAIL, please retype your e-mail address here". Then if they type their e-mail address, the e-mail address will show up in their profile.

They are talking about the UPLOAD process. You have to follow the UPLOAD TEMPLATE which doesn't include the cell phone.

There are several fields that could be added, but probably won't because we have other things that the programmers are working on right now. They are working hard on the ClassCreator 3.0 code and cannot be pulled away for this.

If it ever gets added to the upload template, then you can upload cell phones. Until then, you have to use the upload template how it is.
