I'm trying to De-Activate a link, but cannot get Edit Link to work. Any ideas?

You want to De-Activate a link. Are you saying you want:

  1. to make a page on your site Inactive.or
  2. remove a LINK that takes someone to another site, page...?

Your question notes you are trying to use the 'Edit Link'. That leads me to believe it is a page you want to make Inactive. If this is correct, when you click on Edit Link, it should open as a drop down. If this is it, try the easiest thing first... close your browser and restart your PC. Let us know if that works.

The background you made for your site makes it stand out. Good choice! Smile

If you are by any chance doing this on a mobile device like an iPad, I have found that I can get the "Edit Page" button to work on my iPad, but not my "Edit Link" button...I've accepted it as one of the many mobile device limitations.

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.

What system are you using and having problems on? Is it a tablet/iPad?

Jack,

Often people have more than one machine. That is why I asked it.

And that's why I said "I bet" vs "I know"Wink

Most people try another machine and that wasn't mentioned. Making my bet over 50/50. I bet 1 cent.
