The best way, keeping you out of the deal, is to have him go to the site, put in his E-Mail, and click "Forgot Password?". Then it will be emailed to him and you never have to know about it. But to answer your question, NO, you cannot see the password. All you can do is to change it to something like "abcdefg" and communicate that to him, requesting he change it as soon as he logs on. Hope this helps.
