In Memory. I have a person listed under the "unknown" date title. I now know the year. Is there an easy way to switch this "unk" to a known "year" (?) or do I have to start from scratch?

Go back into your In Memory edit area and then edit that Classmate's record. Add year of death. Simple as that.
