Hi Nancy, Not sure what you mean. Microsoft Windows and Macintosh all have an invisible clipboard. You can copy things to the clipboard (a temporary storage area) and then paste it somewhere else (like your document or CONTENTS window). With WINDOWS, CTRL-C (hold the ctrl button and press C) will copy anything that is selected to the clipboard. pressing CTRL-V will paste it where the cursor is. Does this answer your question?

Thanks so much for your quick reply..I am new to the computer, so your reply is kind of like what the heck....I do know I have windows..I really need step by step instructions...I am sorry to bother you, I feel like a dummy. One thing I know is that I should have my page on before i do anything else. i do know how to copy and paste, but not sure where to..thanks so much, nancy
