Deleting from photo galleries

Just checking to see - actually holding-my-breathe-hoping - if photos deleted from the photo galleries remain in the vault. I know this has been discussed and the answer was "no," but you can't blame a person for praying this has changed. If it's still "no," please tell me there is now a way to recover them. Thanks,

Unfortunately, if you delete a photo from the system, it is actually deleted. You would need to upload the image again.
