I might be waaaay dumb here but can you only see in your message mailbox mail you have received and not mail you have sent? I would like to see mail I've sent as well if possible. Thanks!

No you are not dumb. A new threaded email system is in the works for very late this year. It will not only allow you to see sent messages, but entire email conversation threads. Stay tuned.
