no tools appear in Safari

When I am trying to edit in Safari the tools do not appear above the box. I have to go to Firefox to edit on my website. Is there something I can do to get the tools to appear when I use Safari.

No. You'll need to use Firefox a little while longer. We have some code that we'll be adding that will integrate better with Safari for the editor - until then you will need to use Firefox for the Edit Site Pages and Announcements areas.
