Our class wants to notify members this coming year (2024) of birthdates as they happen so an individual could mail a card, send an email greeting etc. Is the Event Planner the best tool to use?

The system automatically reminds members of upcoming birthdays if they are subscribed to/following that classmate under Member Functions > Notify Me

The reminders go out 7 days before and again on the day of.

If they want to send out cards just have them follow them under Notify Me.

Hi Dana,

Classmates can also see the Upcoming Birthdays that appears on the home page of your site - it shows all birthdays that are coming up in the next 30 days

If it is an admin sending them the admins can also download the class list and include first names, last names, address, and birthdays in your selection so you can plan ahead. Classmates don't have access to classmate contact information by default, however, admins can run those reports.
