adding rose to deceased classmates

I have not been successful in adding a rose to the deceased members' profiles. I read the directions but can not get it to work. I'd appreciated help. Thanks

The rose is automatically added if comments are entered for the classmates (obit, etc)

I wanted a rose by each name, so I went into Edit Site Pages, In Memory, went to each name, clicked on Edit and entered a period (.) in the comment area..
