Has it come up about adding video or slide show to the home page. For example..a welcome message . I know we can add utube to the forum, but I was thinking of doing it on the home page. Is it possible?

Yes you can add YouTube to the home page. You might want to start by typing YOUTUBEVIDEO HERE in your editor where you want to place the video and then click on "source" button in the upper left corner of the editor and search for the text you typed in and replace it with the YouTube embed code. Once you are in the source view you'll see what its important to have a way to see where you are placing the code

so we have to upload it to YOUTUBE first, and then put the link up?

Yes you need to upload it to youtube first.
