Hello - we just celebrated our 50th and would like to commit to hosting this website for another ten years. My concern is that the Cold Fusion platform is so dated, that underlying structures (server etc) will discontinue supporting it over that period. Coming from the Software world, I know this issue too well - the lifespan of a system is only about 5 years. What is your strategy for handling moving forward? Do you have any plans to upgrade software?

Thank you.

Adobe still actively updates and produces new releases of the platform including a 2023 release.

We co locate our network at a host that specializes in supporting the platform.

It is a very robust and scalable platform that is compatible with other languages that we use throughout the system for various APIs integrations and scripts. It integrates extremely well with external cloud services like Amazon. Amazon offers full support and even a full Enterprise hosting option for it.

We are always learning and looking at the available technologies and often integrating those languages into the overall system environment.
So overtime many aspects of the system are becoming less reliant on ColdFusion and may ultimately replace it.
