I went into the chat, a message popped up telling me that I am the only one in CHAT, And as soon as someone joins, I would be able to see them.
But I logging in at the same time as another classmate, yet she got the same message, but still could not see each other. is there a button or a switch to turn on, turn off, this feature??? Thanks, jim

To turn off IM go to the Preferences page and scroll down to near the bottom and unchecl the option for INSTANT MESSAGING. That feature is powered by Flash which is a technology that is dying off this year and is not longer supported by most browsers.
