Our site has several external links for classmates to go to related sites. This one in the Announcements, for example, gives them the official website of the high school: South Pasadena High School

1. Is there a way to code an external link so that clicking on it opens a new tab or browser window instead of taking them away from the Class site?

2. Or would these external links need to be made into buttons that behave like your menu choices, which do open a new browser window? So in addition to the first question, can we also create some of our own buttons with this behavior to put on customizable pages? If so, how?
