It sure would be nice if the message board would read from newest to oldest message instead of the way it does now. It would also be nice if on the home page there could be a flashing icon to show others that a new message has been added to the message board. I think more folks would participate in discussions if this feature were more user friendly. I've noticed on some class sites, the pre existing instruction message at the top of this page has been eliminated. I can't find anything under the edit message board section to clear that box. Is there something I've missed?

The new threaded forums will display messages from newest to oldest - they are in beta right now and still being tweaked before we launch it out to the masses.

Further down the line we have some enhancements for the home page that would include an area highlighting recent changes to the site (pages updated, messages posted on forums etc.)

The current forum instructions turn off after 25 posts are reached.
