Hi there, I have uploaded a PDF file into the vault. My goal is to insert that as a link in a message that I am sending to the class. Here is my problem

I click on the hyperlink edit icon in the message and select "File Vault". The vault content is then displayed. I select the item that I want linked and then select the "Insert" button. Instead of linking I get a "One Moment" screen that never goes away.....

Am I doing something wrong? It seems to lock on a "One Moment" Screen

Thanks
Bob Blum

At times I've gotten that too. I found if I just ignored it and closed the screen that the link had been properly placed.

I tried to close the screen and move on from there. It didn't work.
FYI, The link reads: http://0.0.0.0/2/9/8/18892/userfiles/file/Mondovi67_Registration.pdf. can you compare your good link with this and give me your link. I can probably paste in my hook "Mondovi67_registration.pdf in the place of your directory and file and fix it. Thanks. Bob

That's a good link if you're linking to it from your site. If you are sending in a e-mail you have to add at the front the URL for your site, http://www.mondovi67.com/.

I think the following will do what you want. http://www.mondovi67.com/0.0.0.0/2/9/8/18892/userfiles/file/Mondovi67_Registration.pdf.

It worked, thanks Looks like the program doesn't automatically include the http://www.mondovi67/com piece.

Thanks much for your help.

No it doesn't automatically add the website URL. I imagine it's set up the way it is because the preponderance of links are most likely placed on the site itself.
