I had an announcement showing. Added another announcement, made it active, now neither announcement is showing. Refreshed web site, no help.

Announcements appear as a block. If one announcement is too wide to fit in the allotted section, all announcements are bumped down to below the right-side modules. This is what happens on Internet Explorer. Your current announcements appear fine on FireFox.

What is causing problems is the URL/web address in your first announcement. If you change the displayable text to "Click HERE", Internet Explorer will know how to wrap that line of text and it won't cause problems. Just edit the announcement, move to where you see the "https://www.facebook.com...." link and either add a space somewhere in the Displaying URL or change the text to "Click HERE"

I'm guessing you haven't used the link editor before so you might not be familiar with how it works. Here's a step-by-step:
1. First, edit your announcement to say say something like "If you have trouble finding us, click here to go to our Facebook page." You will be removing the Facebook page web address (URL) from your announcement.
2. With your mouse cursor, highlight the words "click here"
3. Click on the icon that looks like a ball with a chain link (if you hover the cursor over it, it will show the label "Insert/Edit Link".
4. This will open the link editor box; type the Facebook web address in the URL field (https://www.facebook...) and click on OK.

The words "click here" are now a link to the Facebook page.
