Is there a method to denote a missing classmate who very much does not want to be contacted? Can an icon and category be created on the Classmate profile page? Or can the administrator go into that person's uncreated page and simply put that notation, even if that moves them from out of the missing category?

The answer depends on what they want.

Does the classmate simply not want email notifications or do they not want anyone messaging them (where it would go to the message center but not email them - they could see it when they log in).

If they have joined and don't want to receive any emails but want to be able to login we can assist you with turning off all notifications.

If they haven't joined and don't want to receive any emails you can simply remove their email address from the system if it is in there now.

Do they still want to be listed on the classmate profile page at all? If not, you can remove them entirely (or make them a non-displaying guest) under Admin Functions > Manage Classmates > Enter/Edit Classmates > Details page for the classmates name.

If you want to keep them on the main list but not on the missing classmates page there is a missing override on that same Details page.

Missing Override:       
Classmates appear on your Missing Classmates page based on the criteria you have set. If this Classmate meets your criteria and you need to remove their name from your Missing Classmates page anyway, check this box.

Let's see if I can clarify. We are doing an aggressive search for missing classmates, those listed as missing with no information whatsoever on the Classmate Profile page. This is for our 50th reunion so it's kind of important to find as many as we can. We've tasked all classmates to do their best to reach out to as many people as possible using whatever search methods they can figure out. There have been a couple of classmates who have been found but who have indicated strongly that they prefer not to be contacted at all. Can I put something on their profile page? Can I make a 'do not contact' icon to put after their name? Thanks, Barry

You may want to add it in parentheses after their last name so it is clear from the list.

If someone hasn't joined yet they don't have a profile yet.

You also have the option to remove them from your list under Admin Functions > Manage Classmates > Enter/edit Classmates if they do not want to be contacted and don't wish to participate in the site.
