Today I rearranged some photos in a photo gallery and deleted one photo and replaced it with a better photo. Shortly afterwards, an email was sent to the class saying pictures had been added to the gallery. I would like to see an option to not send this email, much like you can do when you add someone to "In Memory". Also, the email mentioned above contained a copy of the 22nd photo in the gallery. This photo has nothing to do with the photo that was replaced, nor was it one of the ones rearranged. Seems to me that if a photo is to be included with the email, it should be one of the new photos or one that was rearranged. Based on today's experience, I'm requesting two changes: 1. Provide an option to not send an email to the class when changes have been made to a photo gallery. 2. When the email is sent, if a photo is to be included in the email, the photo should represent the changes that were made. (No photo at all would work for me.) Thanks for your consideration. Bob Bob

If it makes a difference, please include my name along with Scott's. I agree with his suggestions.

Scott, how many votes does it take to get this moved to a higher priority? I'm wondering if I need to start campaigning to get other admins to cast a vote. Bob

I do not know what forms of bribery Brad is accepting these days. I do know that this is on the list behind getting a lot of the new Event Planner, Donation Module and Product Module issues resolved. I'll let him know you asked.

I realize we discussed this in January, but I had another occurrence today. I mistakenly added a photo to the wrong photo gallery. Realizing my mistake, I deleted the photo from that gallery and added it to the proper gallery. Unfortunately an email was sent to my classmates saying both galleries have been updated, when in fact, only one has been updated. Now I'm getting personal emails from classmates stating they see the changes I made to the one photo gallery and asking what changes I made to the other (the one that was not changed). So, having said all of this, is there any progress getting the requests made in the first post of this thread implemented? Thanks.

Part of that is a 'bug' which was recently discussed again in another forum thread HERE. When an admin adds or edits a photo for someone, we don't have the option of choosing whether or not to send a notify. In fact, even if you realize that you made a mistake and backed out before clicking on SAVE, the notify still goes out.

Hi Brad, Best I can tell, this request is still outstanding. Any idea when it will be satisfied? Thanks, Mike
