Secure certificate for 3rd party domain

Our domain is with a different registrar (Namecheap). Will a secure certificate purchased from you work? If we purchase a certificate from Namecheap, how would we get it to work with our class website?

Hi Ben, If you purchase it from us it will work because we are able to place a token on the site for verification purposes to prove the domain is on our systems. Unfortunately we don't have a way to process external certificates. Jessica
