OK, This probably is simple but I am stumped. We set up a paypal business account and used a committee member's email address. Then,based on this forum's discussions, we created a new Hotmail account for the class and attempted to change the primary email address on the Paypal account. Finally, got a person who said he would change the name and send an email to confirm. Where are we supposed to receive this email?

You'll have to ask PayPal. I'd assume you'd receive confirmation at the old address, the new address, or maybe even both addresses. Unfortunately that's an issue you'll have to take up directly with them.
