QuestionIs there a way to segregate further to say that certain forums are for everyone with Admin Forums rights and others are only for specific people? Is a password on the forum the only way? Any other suggestions?

Admin forums are open to all admins who have been given admin forum rights. If you were referring to User Forums, they're open to all registered members.

But you can do something similar for a subset of admins (or any group of people) by using a private message through the Message Center - where you can add multiple targets. A private message sent to multiple people creates a 'thread' where all those originally in the send list will see all responses from any of the others.

Good information John.
In the past, I have used a 'group' email to all of the admins.
Good to have a 'second tool' to use in the future.

Hi Barbara,

Admin Forums do have the ability to password protect individual threads. I have that for one or more on a site. Have you found it?

No Gwen. I can only find a place to password protect the forum - not individual threads.
