Class Creator uses a little 'trick' to see when an email has been viewed. The emails contain a hidden object which is referenced when the email is 'viewed' - and each time it's referenced the count goes up. In many cases, people view an email once and then file it or delete it. But if it's still in their 'inbox' (or they go look at again), each time they view it, the count is incremented. And for some email programs, just paging through existing emails in the inbox - which displays them in the 'preview pane' - functions as a 'view' and the count goes up. The count is a valuable tool as far as knowing that an email was sent - and seen by people. But as you can see, that count may not give you a valid indication of how many people actually got it and viewed it.
