Can someone please send me to the instructions about how to fix it where my playlist continually plays as I move around on the site. I've seen it on here, but now I can't find it!

Hi Annie, Here is what I put underneath my playlist player for my classmates. The playlist above only plays while you're on this Home page. If you want to listen to the playlist while you're viewing other pages on this website, you can click on the POP-OUT PLAYER box on the bottom of the playlist box. Also, if you want to request a song to be added to the playlist, use the Contact Us link on top of Home page.

My msg to classmates also advises them that if they choose to use the 'pop-out' that they need to turn the player off first or they'll have 2 players playing. (that's because my player is set to start automatically, however, I'm currently trying to take a poll to see how they prefer it ie. (auto vs manual)

I put these instructions under my playlist: To keep the music playing after you leave this page, click on the upper left play button to turn off the player. Then click on Pop-Out Player, click the play button again, and minimize the box when it opens.

As site admin, I have visited very many of other's websites looking for ideas, etc. I found myself annoyed when I hit a site on which the music incessantly blared at me when I didn't want it to. On my site, I decided to use one of the extra pages, called it "Our Music" and included information on how to keep it playing. This way, you don't have to explain how to keep two players from playing at the same time.

I agree, and mine is on separate link (Our Songs) too. I'd prefer to choose whether to listen to music.

You can turn off any Playlist Player whenever you want. All you have to do is click on the two straight lines at the beginning of the line under the artist name. (The first small square.)
