I have a classmate with an antiquated computer system (Win XP, IE eight). You know how the elderly are!
He cannot log in to our website. Once he enters userid and password, the next page says "Internet Explorer cannot display the page." We have emptied cache, deleted temporary files, cookies, etc. He only has the trouble with our class website. Other sites where he needs to login apparently work fine. Any hints?
Thank you

Yes, old IE does not display CC sites correctly - depends on site additions (ours fails). Tell them to install FireFox. Works fine on XP too. Probably the popular Chrome browser also works. Have not verified that though.

Download LINK

and CHROME link

He can import his old bookmarks, but will have to redo the PW stuff.

Indeed... an alternative browser such as firefox or chrome will work fine.

Be careful of Chrome. I have been using it but the last time I went to a photo gallery the pictures came out blue. I went to Firefox and they were fine.
