Forgive my novice question, but I'm new as a co-administrator. Right now I have photo galleries listed individually in the left menu margin on the homepage. What I want to do is have one Photo Gallery listed there and to place all the now listed galleries as sub under that heading. This way a person can click on "Photo Gallery" and find all the different ones on a separate page. Then the user can select which set of photos they wish to view. Is this possible?

Tim,

After January 27th, you will be able to rearrange your left-side menus to have one menu for photos and then have sub-menus under that menu. But you need to wait until after January 27th when the new LINK REORDERING MODULE will be released.

To learn more, you could watch these videos. The first three are what will be coming on Jan. 27th.

For Photo Galleries specifically, you can move existing galleries from one link to another on the edit screen. So if you want to have just one link in the left side panel and all existing galleries as first level galleries under that link, you could create a new gallery link with a title that encompasses all of your galleries (maybe just Photo Galleries) and then edit each existing gallery to put them under that new link. Then you can delete the unused links.

This is correct, right Kyle?

Dick,

Yes, that would work, too, but then all of the galleries would be directly under the "Photo Galleries" page. (which is how it must be done with the current functionality)

There are other ways to do it, and I think that the following would also work.
You can create one page (maybe use a CUSTOMIZABLE PAGE)
You can label that page "Photo Galleries"
Then you can RIGHT-CLICK on your "TAILGATE PHOTOS" photo gallery and choose "Copy Link Location". This is the URL that would be pasted in the browser's Address window.
Then type in the Customizable Page edit window: Click HERE for the "Tailgate Photos" photo gallery
Select the "Tailgate Photos" in the text you typed.
Click the LINK icon (3rd from right on 2nd row)
PASTE the URL you copied of where the real photo gallery would open up
Save the link
Continue with the other photo galleries by copying the link with the RIGHT CLICK, then typing the gallery name, selecting, and pasting the link.
When you are done, save the changes to the custom page.
Test the custom page's links

You can now deactivate the links of those photo galleries. The custom page you created will be the only way that those galleries will be visible to your classmates.
