Greetings Class Creator,

I have a reunion planning committee meeting for the first time on our alumni site soon. I'm writing to ask if there are any known glitches in the private chats or live chats.

In past chats on Reunion Web Coach, there were times participating members typed but the text we read was "11:30pm". This happened a couple weeks ago on my site. (I may/may not have reported it. Sorry!) If you are aware of this and have a 'how to correct' fix, I would appreciate it.

Basically, I would like any helps, tips and so on to make this hour non-eventful on the technical side. I may have my hands full as the moderator. (Ssssshhhh, don't tell anyone I wrote that!)

Hi Gwen,

The only thing that I know to tell you is potential issue to have participants use headphones instead of speakers for audio communications. This is because the echo cancellation features of the chat utility are not very good. In all other respects, you should have no trouble at all.

Be sure to read and understand the options information that pops up on the upper left when you start the chat so you get full use of the options available. Good luck!

(If someone double-clicks the "send" button, or types and then deletes a response and clicks "Send" you may get a timestamped but otherwise empty response in the chat.)
