I just received an email with this message
“ I never see my name on the daily email when my date comes up . 3-15 1940. Thanks”
How do I respond - he has the button that allows others to see his birthday clicked. What else should I tell him to do?

Hi Joe,

We don't send an email reminder to the person having a Birthday as we assume they know it is their Birthday It will go out to anyone who is following them under Member Functions > Notify Me who has birthday reminder notifications turned on.

If you have the Home Page > Upcoming Birthdays turned on their name will appear there starting 30 days before their birthday until the end of the night of their birthday.

If you have What's New turned on it will add it there automatically on the day of their birthday and also automatically list it on their own profile.

Can the person see their own birthday in the list on the home page. Birthday is entered by the classmate and is checked to allow to show. I have a classmate that says he never sees his birthday listed. I am not sure what to tell him.

Yes they would see it on the home page.

What is there first initial and last name and I can double check their settings.

His birthday would have been listed until the end of the day on the 14th.

It is listed on his profile page and reminders went out to those following him.

I have a member who initially checked to not show her birthday, but now she wants to show it. Can I make that change, or can she? Her name is Debbie Webber Pruett

Hi Pat,

She can change it. She can make sure her birthday is listed under her
Member Functions > Edit Contact Info

She can then make sure she has it allowed to display under
Member Functions > Edit Profile > check boxes at the bottom of that section.
