I've had our site for a little while now. Is there a way can 'program' the website to play a song whenever folks launch into the home page........"The Summer of 69". Well any song for that matter. Thanks!

On our FAQs page at this link: http://www.classcreator.com/faqs.html#Building ... question number 20, we talk about adding 3rd party objects to your site. Many admins use Playlist.com to create a playlist and add the player to their site.

If you have MP3 files that you would like to use, you can click on the Widgets link to see our MP3 widget. There are extensive instruction on that page. Once you have your player created, the general procedure for embedding third party objects is as follows:

1. At the third party web site generate the code for your object, then select and copy the code.
2. Return to your Class Creator web site and enter edit mode for the page on which you wish to embed the object.
3. Click your mouse on the exact location on your page where you wish for the embedded object to appear.
4. Click the "Source" button to toggle over to source code view (the Source button is located at the upper left corner of your editor).
5. Paste the code that you previously copied in Step #1.
6. Click the "Source" button again to toggle back to design view. Note: You will not see the third party embedded object in the Class Creator editor.
7. Save you page.
8. Preview your page live. You will now see the embedded object on your page. If you do not, try pressing "reload" or "refresh" on your browser.

If the player is going to be displayed near the top of your home page - -between the left nav and the right column boxes, be sure that the embed code has all width parameters set to no wider than 420. If you do not want to see the player at all, be sure to set all height and widths to 1 (if set to 0 - it will not play in Firefox).
