My Inbox and Sent (box) are empty. Bummer is... I had saved messages from several of the admins who frequent this forum. My guess is they bit the dust a couple months ago. Am I right or is there an Inbox gremlin hiding here?

Gwen, You admin multiple websites. Make sure you are logged into the forums in your most frequently used account. Each website has a HELP FORUM link. If you login with that link, you will be logged in FOR THAT WEBSITE. Your INBOX and SENT box might not be empty on the other website's HELP FORUM link.
