A classmate emailed me a PDF file. It's a picture I'd like to put on the website. But, it's 442KB and it's sideways.. I don't know how to make it smaller or turn it. I only work with Irfanview and that's not one of the options to open the file with..

In Adobe reader, under Edit, select Copy File to Clipboard. Then in Irfan view, select Edit, Paste. Now rotate/resize, Save as jpg and upload
