Two different names on one transaction for registration

I received a notifier that two different classmates had registered on one transaction. One looks incomplete and the other looks like they will be mailing a check. Is this a glitch or just something that happened simultaneously?

Yes, thank you. I deleted the registration and re-submitted to give him an accurate receipt. If it happens again, I'll let you know.
