Brad,

Sorry if I've missed this somewhere but is there a limit to the number of characters we can use on a forum post? A Classmate tells me he tried to post something and got a message saying he'd exceeded the prescribed limit. He's going to shorten it but I'd like to be able to say what the limit is.

Thanks,
Mark

I'm assuming you mean in the new threaded forums, not the original forums. If so, there is no limit to the amount of text you can type in the text edit area. Titles are limited to 255 characters. Was he possibly typing in a long title? I did just see that titles over 255 characters cannot be accepted, thus we limited the input field itself so you cannot exceed 255 characters.

Please have him try his post again. Should he get an error message again, have him copy and paste the error message directly to brad@classcreator.com and I'll take a look.
