Some classmates have noticed that not everyone is showing up on the Google Map - almost everyone is there but neither of our classmates now living in Pennsylvania appear as "push pins" on the map. I've looked at their details and profiles and there are no problems there. Is this something others have observed and, if so, did you determine a work-around? Also, is it by design that the map only shows US residents? We have one fellow in Australia and our map shows only the US. Thanks, John

Welcome John. When we first created the link with Googlemaps there was limited support for some countries and no support at all for some. As a result we chose to limit the map to just US residents, and we gave Admins the ability to turn off the map feature entirely if this was a problem. Although we haven't looked into this much since this, I understand that much better international plotting is now available. Unfortunately it's not just plug and play, I believe we have to purchase some type of international zip code subscription. I'm really not sure -- we'll have to investigate this.

Brad, Understood and thanks for the prompt reply. Any hint on the "missing Pennsylvanians?". John

Thanks very much. Our site is growing and the admin functions make it an easy task for me to stay on top of it. John

that zip code was not found in our zip code database. Don't know why. I did some googling of the zip code and inserted the info into our DB. And now they appear on the map!

Thanks for the diagnostics and resolution. Thanks also for keeping the design of the site clean and easy to manage for one who has signed on as Admin. I do "IT" all day and it is a relief to find the maintenance of our site a low intensity task. John

Strange, buy I have one classmate that just won't appear on the Anadarko, OK 73005 map. Exactly 20 people are on the pin information, but doesn't seem to want to take a 21st? I look and look, but can't figure out what the issue might be.

We're in the middle of switching from the Google Maps API 2.0 to the Google Maps API 3.0, and changing from zip code plotting to geoencoding. Please allow 2 weeks, and if this Classmate is still not plotting at that time let me know.

This was unusual as I "administratively" opened her as registered because we wanted the class to know a little bit about her to possibly visit. She is in a Nursing Home. Somehow in doing that, zip code did not make it. Fixed now.
