When someone joins the site, does the system send out a welcome email back to the person that just joined. I have been sending them out by hand, but now we are doing a site for 10 classes, and It's getting a little difficult and I am afraid I will miss someone & it would sure save me some time! Thank you!

The WELCOME EMAIL can be turned on in the PREFERENCES section. If you have it turned off, it doesn't send it. If it is turned on, the e-mail gets sent.

I just checked and you have it turned on.

Welcome Message: Goes out to new Classmates immediately upon joining the site. (Note: If you have set the "New Classmate Verification" feature below to "Do Not Allow" then the welcome message will not go out until the Classmate's identity has been confirmed by an Administrator.)
