I currently have two domains registered: The Website committee of the wisconsinsnobirds.com/ is looking to move the content to a new web hosting company. My question is how do I transfer the domain out from ClassCreator and also the content? I will keep the paid site memorial69.com with ClassCreator. Thanks in advance. Patrick

snobirds is not a free site? you have to manually create pages on any new hosting company. So copy and paste the pages and save on your computer. Then duplicate as html pages on new site. You can transfer the domain once CC/you allow the release.

Hi Patrick, Your domains are in the same account I believe. You can find the account details under Admin Functions > Manage Domain > Domain Name Account Management You can either update the Host Records to point the IP address to the new servers OR If you send me the information you were provided on how to point to the new servers I can assist you if you want to keep the domains together. Just email info@classcreator.com with the details on any changes you need to the domain name and I can assist with the control panel that our domain provider gives us to assist our customers. Jessica

move the content to a new web hosting company. To clarify Jessica's response, changing the registry 'pointing' records do not transfer content. Just in case that is being assumed. There is no simple way to transfer content. Be sure to also grab any images in the file vault the pages might be using. After the changes to point your domain name to your new provider, what you will see is most likely a generic page if nothing has been created. (sometimes says "in progress").
