Can we eventually get the capability to enter a START time and date for announcements?

{An end TIME would be great too!}
{I believe it is just the DATE currently}

Announcements currently have expiration dates. We have discussed adding start dates, and think that it would be a good idea, but have not yet scheduled the work to make it happen. It is on the list, though.

I'd like to see a "Date Posted" column added to the announcements list.

Thanks.

Steve,

Why would you ever need a START TIME. Wouldn't a START DATE be enough? (unless you are doing some kind of contest and the forms become available at a specific time and deactivated at a specific time).

I think that START DATE/END DATE is all that is really needed.

Can you think of more examples where you would actually need TIMES?

Just really dreaming BIG Kyle! LOL

Actually, the TIME idea came from a classmate when I was discussing the idea of preparing 'pages' for school activities, holidays, etc. [such as Daylight Savings Time coming up this weekend.] {Though Arizona and Hawaii do not participate - but my class doesn't have anyone living there either! Smile }
The START time would really be sufficient, and then not having to remember to start the announcement.

The START and END DATE are now active. It is only for the date, not the time.
