START time/date for announcement

Can we eventually get the capability to enter a START time and date for announcements? {An end TIME would be great too!}

Announcements currently have expiration dates. We have discussed adding start dates, and think that it would be a good idea, but have not yet scheduled the work to make it happen. It is on the list, though.

Steve, Why would you ever need a START TIME. Wouldn't a START DATE be enough? (unless you are doing some kind of contest and the forms become available at a specific time and deactivated at a specific time). I think that START DATE/END DATE is all that is really needed. Can you think of more examples where you would actually need TIMES?

Just really dreaming BIG Kyle! LOL Actually, the TIME idea came from a classmate when I was discussing the idea of preparing 'pages' for school activities, holidays, etc. [such as Daylight Savings Time coming up this weekend.] {Though Arizona and Hawaii do not participate - but my class doesn't have anyone living there either! } * - I think his thought was along the lines of

The START and END DATE are now active. It is only for the date, not the time.
